| Bernard - The purpose of this email is to alert you to upcoming events sponsored by the VTFSC. Tomorrow: Please expect an update on the bills in play and how we are dealing with them. This coming Tuesday evening (2/21), starting at 5PM, we will host our annual Legislative Mixer in the Cafeteria at the Statehouse. We will have a couple of guest speakers, we will give you an update on bills in play, and you can meet with like-minded people including interested legislators. There will be a buffet of finger food as well as a cash bar: Please come, bring your friends or significant others, and meet like-minded people who support our goals and traditions. Orange is the color of the evening. Coming up on March 4th, and starting at 7PM, we are exceptionally pleased to announce that we have engaged Dr. John Lott, nationally renowned author and President of the Crime Prevention Research Center to do a presentation on Crime Prevention at the Pavilion Auditorium in Montpelier. This will be a free event open to the public, so mark your calendars: More details are coming by Wednesday. Finally: Please be advised that the VTFSC will be having our annual banquet at the Barre Elks on March 11th. This promises to be a great evening with an excellent dinner, several games of chance where you can win firearms, and a Calcutta fund-raiser where you can win cash prizes. This is a major fund-raiser for the VTFSC, so you can support us while having a Great Time: You can get more details here.
